About Our Farm
Three Generations of Experience
Our family has been raising beef cattle for three generations, and we have recently made the change in 2020 to raise Scottish Highlands. Our cattle are raised on several hundred acres of pasture and timber, and are free to graze as they desire in the summer, and are fed hay and grass silage in the winter. Nestled in the rolling hills of central Missouri, in the county of Moniteau, we strive to raise quality highland cattle for show, pets, or beef. Our herd comes from purebred registered bloodlines with the American Highland Cattle Association and the Heartland Highland Cattle Association.
Cattle for Sale
With our herd of 30 cows and three different breeding bulls, we offer both AHCA and HHCA registered animals for sale. We typically will not wean the calves off of the mothers until they are 6-7 months of age, allowing the calf to get as much nourishment as possible without putting a strain on the cow. We sell our animals at highland only auctions and private sales. Some of our select stock will be listed here on the website for view and advertised for sale, but you are welcome to contact us to see what other animals we might have available.
